Dr. Toby Thompson, Studio Director, Cranfield Broadcast and Record, Cranfield University. 

Dr Toby Thompson is the Studio Director at Cranfield University’s ‘Grenville Turner Studio’. Toby’s background is in philosophy – in which topic he has a PhD and a book – and he teaches philosophy at Cranfield to academics and postgraduate students. Prior to his time at Cranfield, he was a Zen Buddhist monk.At Cranfield University, there is an NDI® live-streaming facility, producing live-online teaching, marketing, and conferences to a professional standard appreciated by our students, academics, and research partners.

Liam Hayter, Product Manager at NewTek

With over 18 years of experience in the creative, live media production, and post-production sectors, Liam has a breadth of knowledge of overcoming obstacles in challenging technology workflows and has been involved with countless educational projects, including the award-winning Guildhall School of Music and Drama Project and running the awards for the World Literacy Foundation from his AV equipment at home, through the pandemic.

Liam is a highly respected and trusted voice within the AV and broadcast technology industries and is currently focused on CaptureCast and rich end-to-end video/audio over IP systems and solutions within the Vizrt Group.
